Dongfeng Reservoir is located in the border area where the three cities of Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan meet. The Beijing–Zhuhai Expressway passes by its embankment. The reservoir has a capacity of 30 million m3, and is surrounded by lush greenery. There is no industrial pollution whatsoever in the reservoir area, and the air is extremely fresh. The reservoir is rich in aquatic resources and has a great variety of species, making it truly an excellent place for fishing, leisure, and health preservation.
