The Xiangtan Xiang River Bridge is located at Xiangjiatang on the outskirts of Xiangtan City and is an extra-large highway bridge on National Highway 107. The bridge has a total length of 1,830.4 m, of which the main bridge is 850 m and the approach bridge is 980.4 m. The bridge deck is 20.5 m wide, with four lanes, and the design load is automobile—super 20, trailer—20. The construction of the main bridge adopted many technologies at the leading domestic level. The bridge was completed in December 1993.
