In October 2001, Xiong Yineng, General Manager of Xiangtan City Overseas Chinese Travel Service, invested in its development. The Nongjiale (Farmhouse Leisure Resort) is located beside National Highway 107, a place one must pass through when traveling north or south. It has long been known as the land of ten thousand mu of bamboo forest. The official opening of the Nongjiale makes it a tourist attraction integrating dining, accommodation, sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment. The artificial lake and the hundred-thousand-mu bamboo sea enhance each other's beauty.
