The Yin Family Ancestral Hall is located in Yinjiachong, Baishi Township, also known as Miaogong Hall. It is less than 10 kilometers from Qi Baishi's former residence, faces southeast and sits northwest, and is a late Qing Dynasty building. Built in 1905–1906, designed by Qi Baishi and constructed together with the Yin clan members, it is currently the only surviving building in China featuring Qi Baishi's carving treasures. It is a testament to the old master Baishi's early carving art and possesses precious historical, cultural, and research value.

The Yin Family Ancestral Hall was completed in 1909. In 1997, when the ancestral hall was being renovated, a wooden box was found on the main beam, containing a document wrapped in red silk that recorded the basic circumstances of the hall's construction. It explicitly recorded that the carpenter and carver of this building were both "Qi Azhi." According to the person in charge of the Xiangtan County Cultural Relics Office: according to the customs of the time, when building private houses and ancestral halls, the construction site, layout, and names of the builders had to be recorded and placed inside the building's main beam. Qi Baishi's grandson Qi Jinping also once recalled: "In 1953, I went to Beijing to visit my grandfather. When we chatted and mentioned the rich and exquisite wood carvings of the Yin family ancestral hall, grandfather smiled and said that the carpentry and carving work of the Yin Family Ancestral Hall at the foot of Zijing Mountain in Baishi Village was all handled by him."
