Changsha Qingzhuhu Golf Club is located in the picturesque Qingzhuhu Ecological Park in Kaifu District, Changsha City, Hunan Province, China. The club covers an area of 1.4 million square meters, of which the lake surface is 260,000 square meters. The variously shaped ridges of the Qingzhuhu area are scattered at different heights, while the lakeside fairways are laid out according to the undulations of the terrain. While playing, one must consider both how to hit the ball according to the mountain trends and how to avoid the lake area on one side; this is a double test of a player's skill and wisdom.

The entire course is nestled against the mountains and beside the water. The ridge course and the lakeside fairways together create landscapes that differ in distance, height, and perspective, exquisite and distinctive, full of variety, and seemingly formed by nature. While enhancing the beauty of the course, they also increase the challenge and fun of playing.

The fourth hole of the course is a winding path leading to a secluded spot—this is a standard par-5 hole that crosses through jungle. Both sides of the first landing area are filled with bunkers, and combined with the orderly yet varied distribution of plants, this often puts great pressure on players. But do not be deceived by this appearance; in fact, as long as you control your distance well, you can pass through with ease.

The thirteenth hole, by contrast, is like viewing flowers through mist—this is a standard par-5 hole. The left side of the fairway is the lake surface, and the right side is hillside forest. In the direction of the green, mountain peaks pile up layer upon layer and mist wraps around them, so that looking up is like viewing flowers through mist. While enjoying the beautiful scenery, you need only one strong and long drive, and you may be able to reach the green on the second shot and make a birdie.

The 7.2-kilometer dedicated high-grade road built by the Changsha Qingzhuhu Club directly connects to Changsha's Furong North Road and intersects with the Ring Expressway, the Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway (Beijing-Zhuhai), and Changsha's Second Ring Road network. Transportation is convenient: it is 12 kilometers from downtown Changsha (Wujialing), a 15-minute drive; 20 kilometers from Changsha Railway Station on the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway (Beijing-Guangzhou); and 30 kilometers from Changsha Huanghua International Airport.
