  The Lei Feng Memorial Hall is built on the small mound south of Lei Feng's former residence, on the north side of National Highway 319. It covers 7,240 square meters and has a courtyard-style layout, with the main buildings possessing strong national characteristics.

  The memorial hall is divided into four exhibition rooms introducing Lei Feng's growth process and life deeds. Inside are more than 140 physical objects such as the briefcase Lei Feng used and the cotton quilts and mosquito nets used by three generations of his family, more than 130 photographs and books, and three groups each of clay sculptures and sculptures. Since the hall was completed and opened in 1986, it has received more than 6.7 million visitors, including 15,000 foreign guests from more than 40 countries.
