The Tomb of Liu Kuntai is a cultural relic protection unit of Changsha City. It is located below Yunlu Palace on Yuelu Mountain in Changsha City. In 1920, it was relocated here from Zhuzhou. It covers an area of about 300 square meters. The cemetery has two levels of platforms, approached by over 30 steps on each side from the west, all built of granite. The tomb is at the center of the upper platform, with a circular mound and a base circumference of 13.5 meters. The tombstone is pagoda-shaped, with a square column and a conical top, totaling 6.8 meters in height, inscribed with the five clerical script characters "Tomb of Liu Kuntai." Behind the tomb is a stone enclosure about 3 meters high, with a central stele screen composed of five white marble steles. The main stele is 1.65 meters high and 0.6 meters wide, inscribed with "Meritorious Founder of the Constitution Protection, Bestowed by the Military Government," while the left and right steles record the tomb owner's life, official positions, and the date of tomb construction and inscriptions. In front of the tomb are a worship platform, stone benches, a courtyard, and stone railings. Located on a high platform, it offers a broad view, with the winding mountain road passing below the tomb.
