About 15 kilometers west of Liuyang City, in the Shenling area, three peaks stand like a tripod, verdant and reaching into the city. In the middle is a large lake called Juhu, and the mountain is also called Juhu Mountain. "Juhu Misty Rain" refers to the turn of spring and summer, when in the early morning, stone mist coils around the mountain top, fog enters the clouds, as if rain is falling, changing in myriad ways. Zhou Zhongxin's poem says: "Misty rain darkens the layered peaks, looking west in a vast blur, tree-filled villages and city walls seen through fog. Qi surges to the heart of the tide, inch by inch drawn, brewing slight cold. A few strands flip into the void, several dots drift and fade, Xiao and Xiang and Pengli merge in wonder. Doubtful it's Nangong's brushwork, ink-wash streams and mountains."
